I’ve been away from blogging for a while. 2011 was a challenging year to be an entrepreneur in Liberia and there just wasn’t any time left over for blogging. I hope to change this in 2012, starting now.
We just launched a new website for one of our ventures: www.westafricaconsultancy.com
We’ve been doing independent management and business consultancy for a couple of years now and always treated it as a side activity. Well, the side activity has grown enough in importance that we think it merits its own brand and organization, that’s why we launched West-Africa Consultancy Services/PHI. We’re able to offer a wide array of services from hands on managerial problems (HR services, logistics etc.) to business consultancy (business planning, feasibility studies, impact analysis, financing etc.) and investment services (analysis, evaluation, management).
It’s going to be an exciting year in West-Africa, while the U.S. and Europe is struggling on, Africa in general is slated for healthy growth. West-Africa in particular is projected for a very rapid growth and we’re likely to see a lot of new business here as the elections of 2011 wind down and everyone gets back to the business of business.
I’m going to be blogging over at www.westafricaconsultancy.com on the topic of business in West-Africa. Since I’m resident in Liberia the topics will naturally center around this nation, its active businesses and great investment opportunities. I’ll be posting links to the blog here, and as time allows I’ll try to intersperse the linked posts with actual posts on this blog.
